A quick little something I knocked together, the patented tragic backstory generator ™ is the easiest way to give your character a mythically horrible origin.
(actual tragedy may vary, results are final and non-negotiable, i am not responsible for any tears you may shed while imagining the sad life your character must have led up to this point)
In a Randomly rolled campaign, everyone rolled their races and classes. The party has four paladins.
“Lets give some retribution! Divinely!”
– Our lizardfolk paladin upon hearing the party gained a fifth paladin.
Only had 30 minutes to put this together but I think the basic jist of the item is all here.

The latest DND sourcebooks tell you that your character’s sex doesn’t need to be the same as their gender, or that your character doesn’t need a gender, and that “of course”, you can choose your character’s sexual orientation.
And that the same company (Wizards of the Coast) published a story acknowledging one of the characters in Magic: the Gathering is a transgender girl.
It makes me happy seeing companies who have decided it’s no longer unprofitable to ignore the whining of homophobic jackasses
